--------
there once was a little yurble girl she was born grey into a family of three her mother and sister thought she was pretty her father did not agree
against her mother’s wishes her father painted her red and told her to never change her color or something terrible would happen
and so she never changed her color in fact, her life never changed because as far as she knew being different was the worst thing you could ever be
she went to a school a fancy school one with the most prestigious minds to ever grace neovia
and for a while the little yurble girl’s life was perfect and normal
eventually the little yurble girl turned into a pre-teen she was only little in size at this point she was having a perfect and normal life but then something happened that she’d never forget
her friend dared her to go into a pool a rainbow pool she accepted, not knowing the fate that befell her
she went in and watched in horror as her body went from a bright red to the darkest shade of grey
her friend couldn’t stop laughing the yurble girl begged her to stop she went back to the school and everyone else began laughing
they starting mocking her insulting her she pleaded for it to stop but it never did
it only got worse later in the day they started hurting her mentally they started hurting her physically and all she could do was cry
it got to the point where she left school early she ran home, back to her parents surely they can make me feel better, she thought but it was only the beginning
her mother tried to console her her sister did the same but then her father came home and the yurble girl’s heart dropped
she tried to escape going out the window but her father caught her and before she knew it
half of her blood was no longer in her body
her mother struck her father down her sister told her to run and so she escaped right out the window
she ran for miles she was constantly staggering her body was bleeding out from all sides and she could barely feel her legs
then she ran into a cave and found a big thing a blue monster that looked like some kind of kyrii
the monster awoke she knew she was already dead and so the yurble girl collapsed and accepted her fate
but the monster didn’t kill her he instead helped her up and healed her wounds the yurble girl burst into tears
you should’ve just left me alone, she said the world doesn’t deserve me the monster put his hand on her shoulder and said it doesn’t deserve me, either
trust me, little one i know what it feels like when people decide to turn their backs on you
i’ll tell you what, he said you can live in this cave with me we can be here together away from those that despise us
the yurble girl knew there was no turning back to go home meant more pain or worse okay, she said i’ll stay here with you
and so she stayed with the monster for over half a decade it wasn’t the best living conditions but it was better than before
then one day she heard screaming coming from outside of the cave she went to investigate
she found someone unfamiliar it was some kind of island-colored lupe stuck under a branch but it didn’t look right to her because she knew lupes didn’t have extremely large fangs
the strange being pleaded for help i got trapped under this tree, he said i was running from a monster, you see the esophagor, i think it was called?
the yurble girl didn’t know why but for some reason she had a strange desire to save this thing that she didn’t even know
using a makeshift axe that the monster gave her she cut down the tree branch and moved it off of the strange creature and just like that, the creature was free
the creature hugged her thank you for saving me! he said i thought i was as good as dead who are you, anyway?
and in that moment the yurble girl felt a long forgotten feeling as soon as she felt it, she knew what it was it was the feeling of happiness
she knew right then and there that making other people happy made her happy too and so she looked at the creature and said
i’m millicent thornwood i’m here to help
